FEI SILICON VALLEY hosts membership events and activities designed to enhance and enrich the relationships that are critical to a successful professional career.
Dinner Meetings:
Eight times a year on the third Tuesday of the month, from September through November and January through May; featuring high-profile speakers, a pre-dinner wine-tasting and cocktail reception, and a gourmet dinner. A sampling of prominent speakers include: US Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez; President of the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, Janet Yellin; NYSE CEO Duncan Niederauer; NASDAQ CEO Robert Greenfield, CEO of Yahoo!, Carol Bartz; CEO of the San Francisco Giants, Bill Neukom; White House Chief of Staff to George W. Bush, Josh Bolten and Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers partner John Doer.
Career Services Luncheon:
Monthly lunch meetings featuring speakers on career transition; advancement subjects, job search insights and a jobs leads bulletin with plenty of time for networking.
Professional Development Breakfast Seminars:
Monthly; featuring expert speakers on a variety of important professional education topic accredited for CPE requirements.
Community Engagement:
We honor approximately a dozen outstanding students in Finance and Accounting from Bay Area universities with scholarships each year. Annual scholarship program for area students in corporate finance and accounting.
Social Activities:
Annual fund-raising golf tournament; Sharks games, holiday party.
