Programs
Responsible for the monthly dinner meetings; includes identifying the speaker, topic to be presented, coordinating logistics regarding speaker (equipment required for presentation, etc). Objective is to present programs and speakers that are entertaining, topical and relevant to the membership, with sufficient advance scheduling to allow event promotion.
Membership
Responsible for attracting new members to FEISV as well as retaining its existing members. To accomplish that mission we are committed to continuously providing visibility into FEI’s resources as well as creating opportunities for involvement and growth within the organization.
Partners
Responsible for serving as a main point of contact with all current and prospective Partners, facilitate coordination with FEISV committees, determine ways to maximize relationships with Partners and monitor progress and satisfaction.
Professional Development
Responsible for developing and coordinating a series of professional development seminars produced and presented by Chapter Partners aimed at enhancing the knowledge of members over a broad range of financial topics.
Academic Relations
Responsible for establishing and expanding FEI collaborations with certain Bay Area universities and university professors, interviewing scholarship candidates and selecting designating recipients as well as coordinating awards disbursements and recipient recognition.
Career Services
Responsible for fostering a network environment to assist members in transition or considering transition to identify new opportunities. Collects and distributes leads regarding specific opportunities, maintains a resume data base to facilitate confidential searches, hosts monthly networking luncheons with speakers, and works to maximize volunteer contributions to develop leads. Serves as interface with recruiting community to assist membership.
Communications
Responsible for Chapter communications to members including the Chapter Directory and monthly newsletter; promotion to prospective members, managing media partnerships and maintaining and updating the Chapter Website.
Social/Arrangements
Responsible for meeting venue and enriching the Chapter experience through added social activities including the annual golf event.
Diversity
Represents the Chapter with doing its part in executing National’s diversity agenda. This includes reaching out to women, minorities and other groups that are inadequately represented within FEI membership.
